Hegwood At first glance there are some interesting recipes in this book. But when you look closer, this book is not written for the Instant Pot. The recipes are for a normal pressure cooker. I saw one that talked about running the cooker under water to speed the cooling. I do not think you would want to put a electrical unit under running water. The intro section has a disclaimer about medical conditions that I do not think belongs in this book. All and all, you could adapt the recipes to work with you Instant Pot but that is not what I bought it for. I received the book for a discount in exchange for a review.

Nguyen Braised kale and carrots, Indian curry lamb spareribs, crispy potatoes, kalua pig, lamb shanks, Mexican beef, grass fed beef back ribs, and porcini & tomato beef short ribs recipes seem an **awfully** like the recipes Nom Nom Paleo has online. [...] Surely the author wouldn't plagiarize right?
10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. The recipes are good, but in some use "medium pressure" By Natasha Kellerman This book is OK, but not specifically for an electric pressure cooker. The recipes are good, but in some use "medium pressure", and some use specific poundage. Also, it occasionally talks about the pressure regulator rocking, which doesn't happen on an electric pot. If you aren't that familiar with how to use your Instant Pot, the variations in these recipes could be confusing. But they taste good, so there's that. I received this book for a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
