There is a glaring mistake in TIP 129 - "a Lute Suite in E-flat major (there cannot be too many of these around) is transcribed for the guitar in D-minor..." should be D-major obviously. It's standard tuning with the 6th string dropped to D and a capo on the first fret.I have a guitar version of the Bach PFA for Lute that is notated in E-flat major with the 6th string tuned to E-flat - works/sounds good - no capo required.PW

New or intermediate guitarists may not, not yet, encounter many of the problems addressed here. Buy read and keep it in your library, and don't worry if you don't even understand what exactly the problem that he is addressing. Just keep on playing (intelligently), one day you will know it.
