About the Author Chef Deb Cantrell was recently named “Personal Chef of the Year” by the United States Personal Chef Association, the largest personal chef association in the country. Chef Deb is an Executive Chef, Senior Certified Personal Chef, dietary consultant, boutique caterer, author, sought after public speaker, and mentor to culinary professionals who has worked with celebrities such as Glenn Beck, Vernon Wells, and Geeta Sidhu-Robb. She specializes in helping those with food allergies, food sensitivities and/or specific dietary requirements due to disease or other medical diagnosis. She created a customized meal delivery business and facilitates food sensitivity testing through global online education as part of her Culinary Medicine offerings. As a culinary professional, I found the book to offer very practicable advice with things I can do today to improve my business. I was impressed with how thorough she was and I especially liked her insight about setting up security for your emails, websites, etc. because that is something I didn't think about when setting up my business.I also have some good ideas now of what systems I can use to make running my business easier. This book also helped me feel confident that I can succeed doing my own thing.Great insight!! Definitely read this book before you start a culinary business or when you're wanting to improve it (like I am), it will help you tremendously!!

She is candid, informative and open. Even though she is targeting the culinary industry, I learned ideas for my businesses (I am not a chef) related to processes and customer satisfaction.
