About the Author Mary K. Fenwick launched her first book three years ago with the edition of “The Skeleton Key: A Tale of Mystery, Ancestry, and Love.” She feels that by publishing her third novel, she is finally accomplishing the dream of becoming a writer, a dream she has had since high school. Mary has one daughter and five stepchildren. She has been lucky to enjoy a close relationship with her daughter, who lives in a nearby city. Mary is happily married to her husband for fortyplus years, and they reside in a small community in northern Colorado. Mary is the editor of a local newsletter called the Carr Chatter and a community Facebook page, Carr80612. Besides her love of writing, she enjoys woodworking, gardening, and making Christmas candy for her friends and family.

It is a mystery book which I was unable to put down once I began reading. It keeps one guessing and on the edge about what will happen next. The author brings together the involved mothers in a beautiful way. This is definitely a must read for mothers and others alike.
