1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Don't consider it a diet By carmina I had always known about the dash diet but until recently I wanted to get more real info. The main point about the dash diet for me is eat right, feel right, which means no cravings and with no cravings you avoid the cookies or the ice cream or the extra glass of soda, basically you just don't need the extra anymore because you will see there is a lot of food involved. I am in no way an expert but I do prefer this diet against other popular diets just because I don't believe in cutting something out completely because the brain plays a very big part in dieting and loosing that extra weight.

It’s a good thing because, that’s one thing I need to know before I jump into it. My questions were answered in this book. It explains why DASH diet is the best approach to health improvement and weight loss. It helps you lower your blood pressure, and gives you more energy. This book has a complete DASH diet food list, as well as the 7-day meal plan. So far, my favorite recipes in this book are potato nachos, berry yoghurt popsicles, milk chocolate pudding, and yogurt with strawberries and honey. Delicious!
