About the Author Mike has enjoyed a rewarding teaching career in Special Education as well as an English Instructor in a variety of schools around the country. He is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, who served in the rural parish of St. Mary, Jamaica. He worked with a variety of farmers and bee-keepers. Mike has also volunteered at numerous animal shelters in Colorado, Florida, Ohio and Nevada. His motive for writing this book was to create a three-fold awareness in all humans. First and foremost animals do exhibit emotions and feelings, but they cannot express themselves vocally. Secondly, the mass production of animals taking place in the agricultural industry today will be the eventual demise of our planet. And finally, the food choices each individual makes today is a decision to either become part of the global solution to save the earth or to remain part of its destruction. He is devoted to remaining a defender of the voiceless and shares this challenge with everyone who reads this book. Mike lives somewhere in the United States with his wife and menagerie of rescued pets.

A True Defender for the Voiceless By Suzanne R Ryals I know this author and his passion and commitment to saving the Earth begins with the creatures that cannot speak for themselves. He is a phenomenal person and I'm honored to know him. I recommend to everyone to read this book.
