The writing is very good. It pulls you in quickly and easily but you have to appreciate the emotional aspect of it. If you are looking for fast plots and fluff this book is not for you. If you want to sit back and get lost in the vulnerabilities of the characters then this is a must read. I found myself easily relating to many aspects of the stories. It's about life. It got some really good reviews so I figured why not. Well, it did not disappoint... Again I was looking through Amazon and came across the same author. This time it was a book of short stories. I knew I had to get it and read it right away... Again , it did not disappoint... I hope to see and read more books from Corrine Colman..If you are looking for some winter books to read around the fire place with a glass of wine, these books are it. I promise you will be happy you did,

A woman writes a letter to her husband after years in a stale marriage. A rich man goes back to his childhood home to visit his drunk father who was also abusive. An old man whos lonely has a crush on a girl hes never met and he becomes infatuated with her. Theres also a girl following a man on a road, 2 writers who fall in love, and a story about a conversation between two girls in an apartment building. I think theres alot of in between the lines stuff.
