About the Author Dee Travis is the author of two party planning books called "Let's Plan a Party" and "Leave the Details to Us" which were inspired by a Grandma/Widow ministry she started in her church. Dee is a wife and homemaker on a farm in rural Iowa and has four grown children and fourteen grandchildren who all live close by and are involved in the farming operation. She loves to cook, garden, read, and entertain at their home. She is also an active member of First Baptist Church of Creston and serves the Lord by helping plan many of the activities there with her creative ideas.
