I've been to the restaurant and love it. Everything I've had is fantastic and I like to cook so I bought the cook book. Well I just made the Lemon chicken soup and it's bland as heck. Now I'm stuck with a lot of bland nothing that I can't use. My guess is it needs some chicken base that you so highly recommended but how much? I like to cook but am no means a chef.PS The recipes do seem to make a ton of soup so be ready for freezing/donating

The cream of chicken with roasted red peppers soup is my grandmother's new favorite, right up there with the chicken pot pie. The techniques and instructions are very useful as well.
