It was great to read the back stories of my parents music By Mitchell Crose I was born in 1951 and grew up in a house where this music was on all the time. My late father actually saw Glenn Miller in London during WWII. I was able to witness my parents see Millers band in Battle Creek under the leadership of Ray McKinley.. I bought your book the week it came out and oh did it bring back memories. It was great to read the back stories of my parents music. To this day my cd player still as the big bands visiting my house. Thanks for such a wonderful history lesson.
