This book is indeed helpful and very informative in providing me the basics on learning everything about the guitar from its different kinds, choosing your own guitar, reading music to learning how to read and play chords. It contains a short tutorial regarding standard guitar parts and their functions. And through this book, you will discover many types of acoustic guitars that you can play and contains valuable tips on how to choose and buy a suitable acoustic instrument for yourself. Overall, having this book is a great advantage especially for beginners. This will teach you from the very basic information, from its parts, and on how you will read music sheets. Also it's a great informative guide.Highly recommended.

This book taught me what scales are and why I’ve got to master them for ultimate guitar success. I learned proven steps and strategies on how to learn about guitar scales and they are easy to learn. This book could be a great guide for them, even the newbie’s since the book gives you every detail about guitar from the parts of it to playing some famous songs. I like it because there are a lot of examples in each chapter, and they progress at a manageable pace. The examples are musical big bonus. The examples are not too difficult causing frustration, and not too hard causing boredom. If you want to be a genius in Guitar then this book is for you.

Recommended for beginners By Rubie Moran Since I'm currently enrolled in a Summer Music Training learning acoustic guitar, my frustration to know everything triggered me to buy this book.It was hard in the beginning because my frustration rises to be good at it in a very fast way but then reading this book made me realize that there's no shortcut for that. The guides made me understand to learn one at a time. Slowly, my frustrations went gone and discovered that there is more behind plucking of strings and playing good. I was astounded when I've read those basic things I chose to skip such parts of acoustic guitar, considerations in purchasing one and reading guitar sheet.This book encouraged me to learn more about guitar playing and music.
