0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. This could make a cool movie! By Drake Halstead First things first... The cover art is weird! It got my attention straight away. It actually suggests a scene in the climax. I thought that the beginning, where the stage is set was a little laborious. Since it takes place in the future, more had to be explained, after all, it's a whole new society and game are being described. The technology sounds like something that could very well be in the future. The friendships portrayed made me jealous that I don't have friends like that... But it is fiction, isn't it? I wasn't bothered by the graphic description of the violence because no one was really being hurt or killed (Except a couple of guys who deserved it). I won't spoil it for you. This is a pretty good first effort from a new author.

I wouldn't advertise myself as a "gamer", or even very "techy", but I was able to understand the story, and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Looking forward to what this author produces in the future!
