A book like this is perfect for our time today where dieting and health is a popular topic. I myself have never tried dieting. I understand that the main concept of a diet is to control what you eat, but when it comes to the types of diets I’m stumped. I would advise adding in a definition of what a Ketogenic diet is. For people who want to start dieting and look at your book, you want them to know exactly what the dieting is all about and whether it’s right for them. Though you already have that section, I would prefer the definition somewhere even closer to the introduction, if not in the introduction itself. Another point I’d like to make is about how ketone is referred to fat. From my understanding a ketone is something produced by burning down fats so I am a bit confused about this.I personally would have been interested in reading a bit about how a ketone diet helps with diseases you mentioned.Just like how I prefer the definition for a ketogenic diet be made in the introduction, so to would I like to see who the book is targeted to. The introduction is very important, it’s what people read and decide if the book is best for them.For the Recipes it would be nice to see the proportion of people that recipe can feed. Is it enough for one person, or can I serve 4 people?

I already read and own a few of ketogenic recipe books and I had grown quite fond of the whole ketogenic philosophy of eating. I got this book for free and it really pleasantly surprised me and has quickly become my favorite book on ketogenic diet.The reason for that is simple – it is not just a recipe book, it is actually a complete guide on ketogenic diet. The author covers all the basics of this diet, reasons why should someone try it, but also who shouldn't try it, nutritional information and key ingredients that are base of this regimen. The recipes are great, simple and tailored to ketogenic diet right down to the detailed table of nutritional information provided with each one.The author covered every possible aspect of this diet and I can't find any weak spots in this book. This is the only book on ketogenic diet you need.

I feel it gave me all the data I need to make an informed decision. Extremely detailed, helpful statistics, and while it is generally pro-diet, it's also realistic in the point that it isn't for everyone. Very worthwhile, I would even venture to say an essential read for someone considering the diet for themselves or a loved one. It made me feel like I have a realistic view of the challenges and possibilities and think it will surely be a reference in the future. Loved the fact that they included a section with recipes, too.
