Los personajes, las situaciones, el misterio y el ambiente de una Cádiz sitiada, son una combinación perfecta de la mano del autor.Excelente libro, no se la pierda sí le gustan las novelas de misterio enmarcadas en un ambiente histórico muy bien realizado

Cortés Para mí que sobra un tercio de novela, y que la solución del misterio está peor que traída por los pelos. De un planteamiento muy sugerente, en más de una ocasión excesivamente erudito en el lenguaje, y tributario de los otros trabajos del Sr. Pérez-Reverte, se pasa a una novela de final endeble y resolución insulsa, con tintes, no tanto imposibles, cuanto -lo que es peor en una novela- inverosímiles. Lástima, otra oportunidad perdida.
