Last weekend By Doris Edwards I bought Olly's Kitchen book a few weeks back. The preface touched me; it puts the recipes in the personal context of someone who has lived a good life. Last weekend, we tried the Onion Bhajis for afternoon tea. I don't trust myself too much with my cooking prowess, but the instructions were really straightforward and helpful to people like me. I must have gotten it right, because everybody was impressed and loved the Bhajis. There was only problem: I had not made enough! :-)
