I got a wok as a gift , great indeed. I didn’t feel any problem with it, just read each book within a day and noted few recipes to try. Both books have special tips and advice in wok cooking, recipes are different and all together are the ultimate collection for beginners. Tent camping has come a long way since then, and I still do it occasionally, but this year I decided that I'm ready for camping luxury. Searching for online guidance I came across the Diva, whose first camping experiences were not joyful either. She found that adding the right home comforts enabled her to find her camping style. That's what I want, too. I might even want to glamp!The book was useful for me in several ways. Primarily, what kind of camping? I was toying with the idea of an RV and found the Diva's discussion of pros and cons helpful in making me think hard about what was involved. She includes various flavors of camping along with what you need in order to do them, with helpful lists and tips. Speaking of flavors, the Diva is obviously a good camp cook so I'll try her recipes.Technological innovations have hit the outdoor recreation world hard, for better and worse. Last year's wonderful (and expensive) new products that ensure greater comfort and safety will inevitably be outdone by this year's. Sometimes cheap is good and sometimes it's worth paying megabucks. Buying even the simplest stuff can take a lot of research if you only want to buy it once. I appreciated that the Diva did a lot of legwork here, investigating all kinds of products.Seasoned RV people don't need this book, although they might enjoy it - it's fun to read. I'd recommend it for anyone who has never camped before, anyone who has had the kind of camping experiences that are only fun to talk about in retrospect, anyone who would like to try a different type of camping, and anyone who just likes to get in the camping mood by reading books about it.

Also, the author's humility and sense of humor throughout make it an enjoyable and fun read. I consider this a "must-have" guide book for both novice and experienced campers. Also, a great gift idea for all who love the great outdoors!

Southworth A lot of research by the Diva helps the novice or seasoned camper in selecting, a site, a tent/RV or various items one needs while camping. It is easy and fun to read. The reader can make use of several of her tips, at home or in the great outdoors.

She was so ditzy and immature. "Wine me, dine me and 69 me" Yes. This is a literal line from the book from 29 year old May. Really? Do people really talk like that! So glad this is off my shelf.

25 of 27 people found the following review helpful. 3.5 stars---a few bumps but entertaining By Sandy S. 3.5 stars--WRONG NUMBER, RIGHT GUY is the first installment in Elle Casey’s contemporary adult THE BOURBON STREET BOYS romantic suspense series focusing on the Bourbon Street Boys (BSB) private security firm. This is owner Ozzie, and professional photographer May Wexler’s storyline.Told from first person point of view (May) WRONG NUMBER, RIGHT GUY focuses on a case of mistaken identity-or-accidental text messaging wherein May receives texts from a number she believes belongs to her sister. When the messages become more incessant, rude and demanding our heroine show up at a local biker bar, May is all about keeping her sister happy. What May doesn’t know is that the phone text is from a man deep undercover whose messages are accidentally being sent to May’s phone. When May shows up at the bar, gunfire and a car pursuit find May in the protective custody of the Bourbon Street Boys, who will soon offer May a position within their group.The relationship between May and Ozzie is one of immediate attraction as May finds herself drawn to the man in charge. Following a number of threats against May’s life, Ozzie has May move into the BSB headquarters wherein a sexual relationship between our leading couple ensues. Ozzie is the epitome of tall, dark and dangerous to May’s ‘Bo-Peep’ in pink outward façade. The $ex scenes are limited, provocative and intense.There is a large cast of secondary and supporting characters including all of Ozzie’s Bourbon Street Boys security personnel. We are introduced to Toni-the only other female specialist-and a woman with secrets of her own. Toni has some issues with May, and May intends to get things out. May’s sister Jennifer-a computer specialist and single mother to three young children- plays a small recurring role as a support system for her sister, and quite possibly a potential new member of the BSB team.The world building focuses on the men and women of the Bourbon Street Boys. We are witness to their individual pursuits and job descriptions as well as their current series of investigations and special operations. There is a building storyline at the local Marina where income and expenses don’t meet up. Elle Casey adds some humor and asides throughout the story as we listen to May’s internal dialogue, banter and jokes pertaining to her current situation. Some of the humor was palatable but there were several instances where the flippancy and blatant attempts at comedy fell flat reminding of a young boy vying for attention with jokes and one-liners. I also had a few issues with the lack of character description and development as it pertained to our leading couple, and the lack of heat in the romance department. I think May’s characters lacked some maturity as it pertained to relationships making for some uncomfortable scenarios and relationship talk.WRONG NUMBER, RIGHT GUY is an easy read; an entertaining storyline where two people from different walks of life find happiness and love all because of a wrong number and a few misdirected texts. Aside from some few bumps with the writing style WRONG NUMBER, RIGHT GUY is a welcome introduction to Elle Casey’s THE BOURBON STREET BOYS romantic suspense series. I am looking forward to what’s in store for the BSB security team.

One of my favorite authors, Cassia Leo, posted a link on her FB page about this story. I one-clicked this baby right away! I was having a bad day, but I laughed so much reading this, my problems went away in an instant.Our hero, Ozzie, HE IS A SEXY, HOT AS SIN, GOD! I want a guy just like him. He is all business, sometimes rude and intimidating. YUMMY!Our heroine, May, she is the absolutely hilarious. May will make you laugh until your tummy hurts. And believe me, you don't want to miss the adventures of Felix and Sahara ( they are dogs! ).Wrong place at the wrong time . . we have heard that so many times. So what happens when you receive a call from a wrong number and you end up exactly where you are not supposed to be? A funny ride in MayLand!Grab a copy and enjoy!

About the Author Nadia Sablin, a freelance photographer based in Brooklyn, New York, earned a B.F.A. from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2002 and an M.F.A. from Arizona State University in 2011. Her work has been featured in such publications as the New York Times, the Guardian, the Moscow Times,Slate,American Photo, the Calvert Journal, and WPO’s The Magazine. Sablin, who has received the Firecracker Photographic Grant, a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship, a Puffin Foundation Grant, was named one of the Magenta Foundation’s Emerging Photographers in 2011, and was Sean O’Hagan’s Juror’s Pick for the Daylight Photo Awards in 2013. Sablin’s photographs have been seen in solo and group exhibitions across the United States, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center, the Southeast Museum of Photography, the Cleveland Museum of Art, Bellevue College in Washington, and Texas Women’s University School of Art. Sablin’s photographs of her Russian aunts were chosen from 200 entries to win the seventh biennial CDS/Honickman First Book Prize in Photography. Sandra S. Phillips is the senior curator of photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Among the most recent exhibitions that she has curated for SFMOMA are South Africa in Apartheid and After: David Goldblatt, Ernest Cole, Billy Monk; Rineke Dijkstra: A Retrospective; and Exposed: Voyeurism, Surveillance, and the Camera Since 1870. Over her career, she has curated major exhibitions, including Crossing the Frontier: Photographs of the Developing West; William Klein New York 1954–1955; Police Pictures: The Photograph as Evidence; Diane Arbus: Revelations; Larry Sultan: The Valley; and Robert Adams: Turning Back. Phillips has authored or coauthored numerous catalogues, and her articles and essays have appeared in such journals as Art in America, DoubleTake, and History of Photography.

From these photographs one can infer the profound devotion of the Aunties to their summer place - the place where they grew up, and since their parents' passing have maintained. Their garden of vegetables, berries, and fruit is rightly celebrated. Throughout the Soviet era and beyond, the Aunties have lived austere lives; the summer place requires hard work, too, but clearly it's a labor of both love and enjoyment. At second hand I, too, enjoy it.

Excerpt from Life in Utah, or the Mysteries and Crimes of Mormonism: Being an Exposé of the Secret Rites and Ceremonies of the Latter-Day SaintsBeadle's writings were the most downright and convincing of the relentless antagonists of Mormonism, and the developments in the case of Senator Smoot will renew the emphasis of his severities and revive interest in his writings.Miss Kate Field also visited Utah, and had the advantage of being a brave woman with true womanly sympathies; but her warfare, though brilliant and forcible, was not fought to a finish, for she was called away to be historian of the Hawaiian Islands during the agitation that preceded the annexation of the Archipelago. Exposure in an exploring expedition caused her death in Honolulu. Her analysis, from personal observation, as that of Beadle, of the testimony found in the Senate documents, would have been an increase of electric light on a dark subject.The Book of Mormon was found, according to believers, in the "sacred soil" of Central New York, not very remote from the burial place of the Cardiff Giant. Like the majority of active Mormons, I was in denial about what the true church history was until I decided that I wanted to find the truth for myself. Mormon church history has become so watered down by the general authorities and other church leaders that it hardly has any truth left in it.Reading Beadle's first hand experiences of coming to Utah (before the Salt Lake Temple was completed....only the foundation was present when he moved there), mingling with the Mormons, listening to Brigham Young speak and traveling around Utah was fascinating and confirmed everything I'd already learned or suspected about Utah and Mormon history.

If you have the abillity to seperate facts from opinion it makes for a good read. The only thing I do not like is that it is a reprint of the original type which makes it slightly hard to read.

Mcdevitt An excellent book covering the mid 1800s of Mormonism as the church was coming out of the horrible days of the Reformation and Blood-atonement. Beadle, an editor of the Reformation spawned Salt Lake Tribune tells of incidents, big and small, fostered by Brigham Young's Theocratic hegemony.

Coaches, fighters, martial artists alike all need to adopt the principals in this book. As a former student of Coach and Author Billy Matheny, I can say that these principals and strategies in this book are not only taught at his school, but lead by example by Mr. Matheny and by all of his students. And the great majority of his students, including myself, have enjoyed a successful life in martial arts and in our careers due to the principals we have adopted in this book. The strategic warrior philosophy is for anyone who wishes to find more success in their pursuit of martial arts, as well as other facets of their life. If that is for you, then you must read this book.

It's loaded with some delicious, nutritious recipes. My favorites so far are Chickpea and Potato Curry and Stir Fried Potatoes. Indian food is so healthy and most of the recipes are great tasting. This is a book all health-conscious people should try.
